We had the pleasure
of working with Anita Gabler at her season opening of the Women and
Fashion luncheon series this week. Held in Palm Beach at Nick and
Johnnies, a wonderful

enjoyed a terrific lunch and got to dish about fashion and learn about
the fastest growing segment of the entire retail industry-resale!
As the featured
speaker, I was delighted to educate this fashionable group on "The
Thrill of the Hunt" and talked about the world of resale and consignment
shopping. Over the years and with the economy in flux, the profile of a
resale shopper has dramatically changed. They are now very
fashion-conscious,

extremely sophisticated consumers that appreciate the quality and values
to be had in purchasing luxury, designer fashion merchandise at
consignment and resale boutiques.

We presented a
fashion show of daytime, evening and cocktail ensembles that were
composed entirely of clothing, jewelry, furs, shoes, handbags and
accessories from Classic Collections. The group was amazed, surprised and delighted at the quality, high-style and level of couture
designers that we carry in our shop.
It was a festive celebration with old and new friends, consignors and customers and a terrific start to the Holidays!

Time is running out and if you are tired and just can't face another mob scene at the mall, come on over to the Royal  Poinciana area.
Classic
Collections recently participated in the "Shop Small Business" effort
and had a terrific turnout! For two days we offered 10% discounts
throughout the shop and gifted a bottle of our private label wine to
each customer. The response from both local customers and out-of-town
visitors was incredible. In fact, we posted the top sales day in our
company's history!
The wonderful
thing about Palm Beach is that there are several shopping districts that
are unique and utterly charming. From the world famous shops along
Worth Avenue and all the beautiful little Via's, to the smart, trendy
