Over the Holidays and before New Year's, we were delighted to host two Trunk Shows for BENCHMARK OF PALM BEACH, a 25 year old local company showcasing their remarkable collection of fine jewelry.
They featured designers of fine jewelry such as David Webb, Cartier, Tiffany, Buccellatti and an incredible selection of Piaget vintage watches. These master pieces of bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings and watches represented some of the most unusual, large and heavy enamel, diamond and gold creations from the best designers of the mid-20th Century.

If you are like most people, whether you admit it or not, you probably make a few resolutions at the beginning of each year. I know that one I make (and break) every year is to clean out the clutter of my closets and have them be Architectural Digest perfect. Well, this is never going to happen, but I sure do give it a shot each year. And, it can be a very uplifting experience (not to mention practical) to DE-CLUTTER!
So, go and take a gander at your closets...try, really try, to be ruthless with yourself (it might help to have a friend assist you) and start to LET GO! The consignment process is simple and clearing out will be a relief, a weight off your mind, a terrific way to monetarily recoup some bucks for your fashion faux pas and open your closet for new fashions. It's funny, many of our consignors become our customers when they realize the savings on the caliber of luxury merchandise that we carry, just as many of our customers become consignors and find a good home (and some spare cash) for their unused luxury clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories. Talk about a WIN-WIN!!!! Please give us a call before you bring items to the shop...this helps us determine if your luxury merchandise is currently marketable. Needless to say, all items must be in impeccable condition and seasonally appropriate. We will make house calls, honor appointments and discretion is always observed. Classic Collections is proud to support many charities and on January 4th we were delighted to lend our efforts to the 25th Silver Anniversary of the LADY IN RED GALA. Benefiting the Disabled Veterans for Life, and American Humane's Shelter to Service Program, this Gala was created by the Leaders In Furthering Education (LIFE Foundation). The LIFE Foundation which is an organization originally started by and still magnificently run by the most generous and benevolent Lois Pope, also supports a host of other medical philanthropist groups such as Spinal Cord Research and Macular Degeneration Cures.

Held at The Breakers, the evening started with cocktails in the Venetian Ballroom where guests were serenaded by the Palm Beach Symphony. Then it was on to dinner as attendees strolled to the Ponce de Leon Ballroom. Guests were entertained by legendary comic, Rita Rudner and the incredible...Diana Ross!
She kept the party going with her marvelous voice, stage presence and grand, elaborate, sexy style! The Danny Beck Band started their fabulous music and everyone - I mean everyone - danced the night away until the wee, wee hours! Needless to say, we all stopped in the name of love! it was a night to remember!
Ambassador Realty Corp and Classic Collections were so pleased to be a part of this outstanding event that benefited the disabled veterans and animals we all love so much!
