This time of year is so enticing to our all of our senses. We feel the air become moist and the sun warms our skin. For the month of June, Classic Collections will be open for business Monday through Saturday from 11am to 5pm. We have received a tremendous amount of exquisite clothing from Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves. St. Laurent, Valentino, Roberta Cavalli and other luxury designers. Many items came from runway collections!
These items are available in the boutique as well as online on 1stdibs.
On June 4th, we begin participating in Fine Jewelry Auctions every week with LiveAuctioneers out of New York City. Construction continues with the Via Testa by the Breakers project! It is expected that retail/restaurants on the first floor will be ready for Season and that the condos above will be sold out!
Down the block, the Bradley Hotel is being renovated by The New England Development Group and a favorite restaurant, Trevini is being relocated to the office building next to the Temple and Chez Jean Pierre's parking lot on the north side of Sunset Ave. So, we expect a lot of construction traffic and are awaiting a decision by the town to see if the street will be one way with flag people at each end to accommodate people going to Publix. Therefore, until we can assess the parking and construction congestion in late June, we will not make any decision about our hours and open days for the balance of the summer.
We can continue to receive merchandise from our consignors all summer and will, of course, be coming in to take pictures, post fashion and jewelry merchandise on 1stdibs or, for some fine jewelry, trying our new auction site. Of course, fulfilling orders to ship to our customers all over the world!
